Junior Maths Challenge 2026

On Wednesday 29th April several of our Year 7 and 8 students took on the Junior Maths Challenge. This is a 60-minute competition which focuses on problem-solving, logical reasoning, and creative thinking rather than the standard Mathematics curriculum.

Students have received their certificates and have hopefully shared their achievement with their family. We are incredibly proud of all students who have taken on this year’s challenge, showing great courage and being super role models for their peers.

Congratulations to all who took part and the following achievements:

Year 7

Certificate of participation: William, Max, Poppy, George, Sophia, Macief and Gilbert.

Bronze: James, Hollie, Lilly, Sebastian.

Silver: Sanjana and Jay (both achieved 68 marks which was the best in year) and Megan.

Year 8

Certificate of participation: Nicole, Meredith, Shakira and Harry.

Bronze: Charlie, Reggie, Mary and Zack.

Silver: Charlie (best in year and school, 2 marks off a gold), Jessica, Zachary, Constance, George and Shona.
